About Manitoba IEC
The MBIEC is an employer-facing initiative funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and is a member of the Immigrant Employment Councils of Canada. The Manitoba Immigrant Employment Council is a non-profit project that equips Manitoba employers with proven solutions, tools, and resources to recognize newcomer skills and experience at hire and to implement win-win workplace supports so that newcomer talent can be retained for the benefit of employers and newcomer employees across Manitoba.
Our core activities include: communications and networking, hiring events, employer-focused webinars, employer networking, and research projects. We believe that as Manitoba builds capacity to more effectively integrate newcomers into the labour market, employers, newcomers, and our communities will all benefit from our mutual success.
